I am considering replacing a couple windows on my Bigfoot. The old ones have the well-known gasket creep issue. Several, including the emergency exit window are leaking as well. I plan to pull these, rebond the sandwich panel and either rebuild or replace the window.
Does anyone have experience rebuilding these windows? Is it worth the effort to save money? By rebuild, I mean replacing all the seals on the sliders and the glazing if the gasket is creeping.
If I can find a high quality replacement, I would just as soon replace the 19 year old windows.
