fresh water lines

I have an old 84 Nomad travel trailer set up in a mobile home park that I live in full time.

Recently I had a small leak and needed to replace the water pipe directly under the bathroom sink. When I turned the water back on the leak was gone, but I discovered that fresh water coming in is going right back out into the city sewer system even when faucets and shower is not in use. Nothing is on at all.

I don't store water in a holding tank and the water coming in goes through an on demand heater when engaged.

What's going on here? Is this normal?

One more thought. Do you happen to have a residential style toilet installed in place of the RV toilet? If you do check the flapper in the tank.

Can you provide pictures of both ends of your repair?

Welcome!
Hmmm you mean when you turn the water on outside you can hear it running and it’s going straight to the grey tank or black tank?
And no water pressure out the faucets?
Describe what’s going on in a bit better detail. Because what you did or virtually anything else wouldn’t cause the fresh water to go straight to a drain line without going through the faucets and down the drain.
