HD truck aftermarket shock options?

I have a 13 Ram 2500 4x4 CTD, I am looking to replace the factory shocks with aftermarkets. I infrequently pull a 10k TH.

Has anyone replaced their oem shocks? What brands are you using?
Is there a noticeable difference or was it a waste of $$.

I was looking at Rancho's 7000 & 9000 series.
Thoughts? Experienced answers welcomed.

Another vote for 5100's. However, don't expect them to make a truck ride like a car. They greatly improved my towing, hauling, and plowing. They did not make a huge improvement on unloaded ride quality.

I threw on 5100's when my truck was a few weeks old, they are great for the money and far better than the stock units the truck came with.

Thanks for the info so far.
I am leaning towards the 5100's found them on a popular 4x4 site 4 for $280.

I put Bilstein 5100s on my 2013 F350 dually 4x4 before it was a month old. A great improvement.

Others put on Bilstein 4600s.

Bilsteins have a lifetime warranty and you can find decent prices on the internet.

You might want to do a forum search. This gets discussed regularly.
