Hi guys, new to the forum. I take my truck camper off-road quite a bit into Baja surf camping and while I don’t hit it hard off-road this last trips 50 mikes on some washboards and a few whoops I couldn’t slow down for in time seeems to have stressed the drivers sude anchor pints and it appears I need to rebuild the wood and reinforce the frame back there. I was t able to find any YouTube videos on removal of the storage boxes etc that I need to get the aluminum siding off to access the wood frame. Was hoping somebody had some tricks or possibly a link to someone who has done this

Camper is a 1994 Lance squire 4000 9’6” extended cab

I’ve seen a video of a guy who reinforced and rebuilt his lance but nothing on how to remove the storage boxes so I don’t totally destroy this stuff trying to get to the gut

Thanks in advance

When I was fixing my Lance 1161, I went to Lance forum and was lucky to get whole pictorial from same model rebuild process.
No guarantee you will have the same for your model, but lot of build is done with the same engineering regardless the model, so any pictorial will help.
Obviously I had to fix what Lance lack in engineering, so had to use my own ingenuity to make it better 😉

This guy seems to be pretty good at his repairs, he is pretty easy to listen to, does not have tons of loud music blasting over his narration.

his name is Kilog and has done quite a few repairs on a camper close to the same year as yours, you may find it helpful to watch some of his vids and pick up on some of his tips

If its the square frames typically there is a plastic insert that covers screws on the face of frame.

Likely will split the plastic as it gets pretty brittle with age.
Picture above the rear wing door is missing the plastic insert, screws visible...
edit

Picture on ebay, many styles and sizes but just for profile, removing is squeezing enough to get barb on legs to release. I use a steel putty knife-usually works
