Ram Wheel to Wheel Steps & Torklift

I have a 2015 Ram 3500 with the Wheel to Wheel side steps needing camper mounts. Torklift , manufactures a set made for this purpose however, their tech support says they go under the steps which sounds like they could possibly create a ground clearance issue.

Are any of you using the Torklift system on a similarly equipped truck & are there any issues with ground clearance?

Thanks,

They go under the steps. I have the factory steps / running boards and there is no room (at all) to go over the steps.

Chad, after modifying, do they go between the steps and bed or under the steps?

I have a 2014 Ram 1 ton, 4x4 single rear wheel. When I contacted Torklift they did not have a solution for the wheel to wheel factory steps. I modified the standard fron insert by cutting it in two and welding in a drop. I works just fine.

I will attach a pic of it if I can.

You can email me directly if I can not get the pic to attach.

I see I don't remember how to attach pics. I figured this out a year ago, but don't have time to devote to it now. Email me and I will send you pics if you would like to see them.
