Similar to your Rig?

We are looking at a 2016 StarCraft 187tb with our Ford Explorer V6, factory tow package, TV - anyone have success with similar rigs? Anyone have this hybrid - like it? don't like?

It’s a v6. Payload is 1558. I’ve done the math. Not much wiggle room. I was really curious if anyone had experience with a similar situation.

Without getting into wheelbase issues, 500/5000 is why I’m not towing with an Explorer or Traverse, OP. And you and your family shouldn’t either.

What year Explorer and what V6? Factory tow package or factory HD tow package -- there's a difference.

Starcraft has always had a pretty good rep, with their hybrids.
that model is about as small as a 3 bunk end hybrid can get.

Hitch Weight 445 lbs. Is that wet/loaded hitch weight? If so it leaves just 55 pounds of available hitch weight on your Explorer for a loaded trailer. WDH and bars will take more than 55 pounds...and you are over.
