Suburban Over won't stay lit

I have a brand new Suburban oven that preheats then shuts off. Has anyone had this same issue? Any ideas on what the problem might be?

Pilot stays lit by itself (I left the pilot on for a half hour and it was fine) then goes out with the burner when it comes up to temp. The manual says that the flame will reduce when it reached temp, but mine goes out! Would the thermostat cause this?

Check that the pilot flame is good and that it engulfs the end of the thermocouple
completely.
