What did you do to your Camper Today?

After a good washing yesterday I got up early (while the camper is in the shade and the temp has not exceeded 100--yet) to put a good coat of Meguiar's Marine/RV one step Cleaner Wax on. I'm a huge fan of Aerospace 303 and use that in-between full waxes. I think it has made a huge difference in keeping the gel coat shiny.

Here's a pic of my nose cap half waxed and half not waxed. Where its parked during non-use the Nose Cap and roof gets the most sunlight.

I was pleased with the contamination that came off the gel coat. I still have some strong bug marks but overall it looks great - all finished and polished! The decals are showing their age! In the heat of the hot summers I get small ripples at the top of the cap. Anyone seen that before?

I went out to turn the heat on with my portable Buddy heater and nothing went right..Hard to start/slight smell,it just wasn't working right..So I soap tested all the fittings and notta..Slept on it and read about it and it came down to the stupid filter on the heater must have been plugged..I took the filter off and it worked like it is supposed to and my hose is rated for that heater..Don't know why I put that filter on it...

My recommendation is do not put a propane filter on the Buddy heater, get the hose instead that does not require one...

Right after I put the filter on it worked great, months later, not so much..

Ok, you really old Duffers. A Question. Is there a trick in putting the propane tanks back into the compartment. After getting them refilled. We looked at a Lance 1172 the other day. It was not lower all the way to the ground. The steps were being use. I opened the propane compartment door, just to look see, 2 30#tanks. My first thought, How the HECK will I be able to put the tanks back up there. I would need a step ladder. One of the fun things of getting some age on your body, you lose strength. UGH We have a 40' fifth wheel now for our snowbird home. I recently replace the 40# tanks with 20# tanks, so I could lift them up to the compartment. GGGGEEEEZZZZZ Old Age, But I do know that getting this old is a privilege. Not complaining.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Good looking setup.
Yup, BIGGER.

Fixed it. :B

I got the generator all buttoned up and one more propane check valve installed today and put new weather tripping around a few of the outside compartment doors.

Had the aluminum framing holding up the water tank rewelded and gusseted where the previous welds had failed. Finally giving the old 1191 some new life.
