Found some extra storage space!

My camper is an 8 footer. But my truck bed is 6'6". So the rear most truck bed access door is really outside of the truck bed:

So I made a little shallow box and screwed it over the outside of this opening.

I only made is an inch deep as I wanted access to the wheel well area for a small ladder and other things.

This will be a perfect place to hang tools, tent pegs, and other small-flat items

All painted up and looking pretty!

Decided that since my Lance 865 came with a TV antenna with built in signal booster I'd put a TV in. I found a 19" wide screen at Best buy on sale for $99 and then bought an aluminum swing mount at a local RV dealer ($69 with the Good Sam discount!!). The wall mount didn't fit the screw arrangement the Lance factory installed so I had to drill new holes in the wall plate and countersink the holes. Got the TV in then did a direct wire to the battery so I could use a small solar panel I had on hand to keep the battery topped off. Both are working great.

The TV bracket is a locking type but unfortunately the 19" TV hits the side wall before the lock will engage so I'm going to find a way to secure it during travel. It would probably be OK but why take a chance.

Had to replace the kitchen faucet in the 08 AF and it came with the soap dispenser. Wasn't going to put the dispenser in but Mama talked me into it. Works like a charm for the dishsoap.

Thats a great idea. I was surprised to see how much Northwood changed sink layouts from 08 to 2010. Now I have more work to do.

In case you were wondering, yes I do sleep very well on that regular queen size Sealy Posturepedic with a synthetic down pillow top. I really do like the campers functional layout

Do you have the box spring under your mattress too?

no that's just a standard 80x60 queen with a synthetic down topper resting on a sheet of refletex on the floor of the cabover
Whew. When you said it was a challenge to get into your camper, then a box spring too, I was going to be really amazed how you got that done.
