We have reservations at Fort Pickens in Pensacola on Saturday. The park and campground are closed due to heavy rain and flooding. Temporary closure is through Thursday as of now. We are worried it wonโ€™t be open by Saturday. Any recommendations on places to stay as an alternative?
Thank you!

That stinks.
Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores AL, has 500 sites, and has pretty regular cancelations the week before arrival. Might want to check their website.

not sure what your plans look like, but if the fort pickens campground is flooded then most of the other parks in pensacola will be flooded as well. the gulf south just got hit with brutal storms. for beach camping on the gulf I always recommend Bayou Davis Campground near gulf port, MS. I would call ahead and see how much water they got during the storms
