2015 Econ 18RBS Pacific Coachworks

I just looked at a used 2015 Econ 18RBS Pacific Coachworks travel trailer. Used twice, beautiful, great price and seems perfect. I saw a 3" crack starting at the slide-out corner and moving down. It had been repaired by the dealer by drilling a small hole to stop the crack, but not filled in. Should I be concerned? Is this a way a dealer would repair a crack? Is this a bad place for a crack? The RV is perfect except for that crack. Does anyone know anything about the Econ?

If everything else is exceptional, the crack wouldn't bother me. If I could save $1K on the purchase price, it would be enough for me to repair any damage from the crack. If the crack is recent and rainfall has been light, even less reason to pass up a good deal.

Anybody with body shop or marine repair experience could fix a small crack, easily. In fact, a minor crack can be a DIY job with some epoxy. The only real worry would be water damage to the slide out and that should be investigated thoroughly.

Plenty of TT's out there to look at that won't have that problem. I'd move on.

Don't know about this particular camper, but I think I would pass it by.
