2021 Forest River Heritage Glen Solar questions

We recently purchased a 2021 Heritage Glen 273rl that is still at the dealers. The camper has a roof mounted solar panel. Can anyone relay to me any information about the system. I searched the internet for information but found basically nothing regarding the system. Interested in manufacturer, wattage, amperage, controller, location of the controller, and any other information and/or internet site that could assist me. Thank you for your assistance.

Did you get the optional 12v refrigerator? That's what we ordered with our Rockwood. It's not here yet, but I believe it's a 190 watt panel, 1,000 watt pure sine wave inverter (located at the front, in the kitchen cabinets - not sure where it would be on yours), and it powers at least one outlet.

The inverter is made by WFCO http://wfcoelectronics.com. I think the solar panel is made by "Go Power!" www.gpelectric.com

It appears this solar system has a maximum production of 50 watts and less than three amps. That just isn’t enough and I believe you will be very disappointed. Adding solar panels will be limited by the wiring...14 gauge...and the controller.

If you go the the Heritage Glen webpage, scroll all the way to the bottom to "Literature", and you'll find the Solar Kit User Manual.
