We are getting ready to take our first "REAL" trip in our 24' TT. I grew up in Williamson and remember some of the roads being pretty treacherous for oversized vehicles, but I know the highway system is much improved. Any advice? Places to avoid? Thank you. BTW:pulling w/ a Chevy Colorado.

I'd go I66-I81 to 45 West to Buckhannon, I 79 to I 64. 45 and 55 are mostly 4 lanes across WV and you can't get out of hills anyway you go. Besides it's worth it to see Mt Storm.

Assuming you’re taking 119 to Williamson, it’s 4-lane all the way. Kinda hilly, and depending on the time of day, VERY congested around Charleston WV.

Sorry, can’t respond to this particular question. However, when I have wanted to know about various routes, the Google has usually provided enough info from different RV sites to make a decision.
Good luck.
