It must be time to go, the suns out and I've got a full tank of diesel!
We have a granite fireplace hearth! Love to be a little different.

A quick search on amazon yields a bunch 12volt tv 's for reasonable prices...considering I saw one literally 4x cheaper than the optional one on the TT I am thinking of purchasing I will certainly not get it as an option!

There are some that are special - the ones that run on 12v.
Jensen makes 12v LCD TVs that some RV manufacturers use.

Someone on this site pointed out that a lot of TV these days will run on 12 volt if you just cut the cord off and add a 12 volt plug.

Take a look at the Toshiba Amazon Fire smart TVs on Amazon. It's some sort of partnership with Toshiba and Amazon.

I bought 2 last year; the 43" models were on sale for about $200. Good TV for a spare bedroom, RV, etc., and Toshiba is a brand name.

My Wally branded TV is great. The factory size was a 40" and I upgraded to a 46" and the difference is huge in the picture quality. No comparison.

Last year I put a small Walmart TV in my 1975 Prowler.
I think I bought a larger Walmart TV when the TV in our bedroom gave up the ghost.
AND... I think I bought a Walmart TV when I had a Grey Wolf.

No complaints... Don't skimp on your Coaxial cables, they really do make a difference in your picture.

Thanks for the comments but I never have or will shop at Walmart. I will go to Best Buy though and will use you advice.

It was odd at our RV park this winter as the Xfinity guy said he only hooks up tv to about 60% of their customers anymore............... spmething else I need to figure out.

Buy what you like. Nothing magical about TVs in an RV.

We like our 12v. Works when weโ€™re boondocking or if the park power goes out. Itโ€™s a 32โ€ and only uses @ 40w.

Agreed (are we up to 4X now?)

I recall the RV salesman suggesting they could install a special RV rugged TV. That was before I knew much about anything RV-wise. Now, years later, I am glad I just put in one that a friend gave to me that was sitting around in his garage unused.
There is something special about camping in an RV.

Just make sure the TV has the correct bolt pattern for your TV mount. There are a couple different standards depending on size.

Think outside the box - errr opening. Repourpose the opening and mount the new/larger TV on a swingout in front of the opening or elsewhere.

You don't have to get a cheap one. Better ones will work too.
