Replacing HWH hydraulic lines 2002 Itasca 34'

Replacing a hydraulic line on a 2002 Itasca 34' The line runs through basement wall and connects behind water heater. Is the only way to get to that is remove the water heater?

Thank you for the advice. I don't see any panels that I can remove to give me more room.

It connects to the slide cylinder. You can see it but not enough room to get to the fitting because of the water heater,
