Looking for a late sleep stop in Roseburg Oregon

I did some searches here as well as with Google and didn't come up with much. I'm supposed to do some work first thing in the morning in Roseburg and won't be arriving in town until late evening.

I just don't want to try and get into a campground late and in the dark. The Walmart list says no. Any other ideas?

Dry camping, you usually, if a TT or 5th wheel, can unhitch, if necessary. Overnighting in public parking lots, stay hooked up, no chairs out or extended awnings or bbq's out, keep it all inside and self contained. No portable generators either. Have to be incognito and discreet when overnighting, make it a point not to be noticed for any reason.

My first thought was dry camping for the one night, hence the choice of this part of the forum. However I do appreciate all the input as I will be going back for more work that would require 2 or more nights.

Love's, Home Depot parking lot, or a Casino, if near by, all work, provided it is not a Town Ordinance that bans overnight parking.

Agreed! I'm going to start going to the RV Resort (or whatever it's called) forum and post parking lots that they can stay in.

Love's sounds like what is called for here. Not all of us require four star accommodations for a quick nights stay.

Which way are you coming into Roseburg? Roseburg itself, doesn't have any parks that I could find. I agree on Hiway Heaven in Sutherlin. If you're coming from the south, On The River Golf & RV is a DELIGHTFUL RV park. The address says Myrtle Creek, but it's actually about halfway between Myrtle Creek and Winston. We stayed there last summer for my class reunion. Not only are they reasonably priced, but it's easy on and off the highway and is far enough away you don't hear the highways. LINK

Thanks everyone, those all look good. I'm sure one of them will work just fine.

Last time I was down there I overnighted at a rest area on I-5 about twenty miles north of Roseburg (if you're coming from that direction). I think it's at about exit 100...

I always stay at Hi Way Heaven in Sutherlin - perfect for overnight - nice park, easy access and you can get breakfast at nearby diner for breakfast when leaving.
