Have been to Sedona AZ many times but never in the RV. So, would appreciate some suggestions as to where one should stay. 40 ft RV pulling 26ft car hauler trailer. Doesn't need to be right in town, it can be out a ways. Looking for a descent rate so we'll stay 1 week. Thanks to all that reply in advance.
Safe travels

Rio Verde RV park in Cottonwood/Clarkdale is small but very nice.

Verde Ranch RV Resort in Camp Verde is new, large and very nice. Don't confuse with nearby resorts with similar names (Verde River RV, Rancho Verde RV)

Distant Drums RV in Camp Verde is nice. A few spots are tight to get into.

Dead Horse Ranch SP is a great choice but with a rig as long as yours you will be limited as to where you can fit. I doubt that any of the RV parks would be able to accommodate you... reservations at DHR SP would be a very good idea.

Don't even try to drive 89A between Flagstaff and Sedona as the road while spectacular is very tight especially at the northern end {and the limit is 50' which they enforce} but a gorgeous ride in a car or truck.

We stayed at Rancho Sedona a few years ago. Very nice. Within walking distance of some parts of town.

Rancho Sedona RV Park is the only one actually in Sedona....nice, treed, by the creek, pricey.

Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood would be second choice for me.

Click on "RV Parks" at the top of this website, and type in Sedona. You'll see a list of other good options in the Verde Valley. Distant Drums by the casino and I-17, Verde Ranch very new also by I-17 in Camp Verde, Rain Spirit in Clarkdale also pretty new looks nice with nice surrounding view.
